LED Fog Lights with VA Brackets
- including wiring harness with MotoBozzo-Switch for mounting on existing crash bar with lamp receptacle or original BMW light bar

Existing boring at the crash bar / BMW light bar (see photos) will be used, therefore, drilling is not required.

The light set comes completely with pre-wired harness, MotoBozzo switch, cables, clamps and mounting hardware - but without crash bars!

The LED fog lamps have a power consumption of only 13 watts each and have an E-Mark / approval. ABE is also not necessary, since the operation of two fog lamps generally allowed.

The LED fog lamps used here each have a separate external control device and are equipped with generously dimensioned aluminum heat sink on the back. Thus, this LED bulb is quite small and well protected against heat, the lens distributes the light beam perfectly!
All screws and lamp holders are made VA stainless steel.

Function of the MotoBozzo-Switch
With switching-on the ignition the lamps are automatically switched on.
Now, the lamps can be switched on and off by applying the flash-light two time (click-click).

This short light horn signal for switching is, of course, used before departure and during the trip without oncoming traffic.

Since the lamps automatically operate in parallel with the ignition, shifting is according to our experience almost never necessary ...
A 5 mm green LED-display shows the operating condition.
In case it is requested to have the lamps switched off when igniting, just detach the lilac wire and attach the green wire instead.

In this case, however, the lights must be switched on manually at each start up. Since this might easily been "forgotten", we prefer / recommend to operate the circuit in the delivery condition.

The supplied wiring harness is prefabricated and fits very precisely in order to ease the attachement. In practice this means that only 4 wires must be connected according to the illustrated instructions. There are 2 cables (positive and negative) to be connected directly to the battery. And 2 cables from the electronics are to be soldered on the headlight connector (found behind the right front speaker).

After installation you will quickly see that during the day you are much better seen and therefore drive more securely. At night you will notice that beginning from the front tire.
